Job description

Production Activity Controller - Airbus, Broughton

Location: Broughton (Onsite)

Contract Type: PAYE or Umbrella

Pay Rate: £23.00/hr PAYE | £30.05/hr Umbrella

Hours: 35 hrs/week (4.5 days, between 7am-7pm)

Security Clearance: BPSS+ (Completed by Airbus Security)

IR35 Status: Inside IR35

About The Role

Are you a proactive planner with a passion for keeping production on track? Airbus is looking for a Production Activity Controller to join their Planning & Logistics team in Broughton. This is a hands-on role where you'll be at the heart of daily production operations, ensuring everything flows smoothly from parts to final assembly.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Kick off daily production scheduling routines
  • Attend and contribute to daily production monitoring meetings
  • Track progress, report parts availability, and help adjust priorities
  • Manage work orders and component logistics (including missing parts)
  • Coordinate parasitic flows and outstanding works across departments
  • Support the supply of Wing Loose Items to Final Assembly Lines
  • Handle internal/external work order transfers and logistics flows
