Salary: £39,800 - £45,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

We are looking for a digital and social media impact producer to work on across Sidetracked, a weekly podcast for music and pop culture lovers looking for an authentic and light-hearted take on the week in music... presented by broadcasters and music fanatics Annie Macmanus and Nick Grimshaw.

If you are experienced in developing world class brands, love creating high impact digital and social content that leads a cultural conversation and passionate about music and podcasts, then we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Producers are responsible for creating music or speech content for live and pre-recorded programmes as well as events and outside broadcasts across our networks. As a Producer, you’re expected to collaborate with others to deliver creative ideas and shows to a brief set by Commissioners.

Knowledge, Skills, Training & Experience
  • You will be an experienced producer who has worked across successful podcast titles
  • You will have a proven track record of creating high impact digital and social content that leads a cultural conversation.
  • You must be passionate and knowledgeable about music, from the mainstream stars to the underground stories
  • You will be able to identify compelling narratives and pitch and deliver content accordingly.
  • You must be skilled in the latest audio and visual technologies and editing software
  • You have an interest or experience in storytelling and scripting
  • You have the technical skills to film and edit video and take editorial responsibility for it
  • You have knowledge of which video formats can work on different platforms for different audiences
  • You have the confidence and creative flair to turn long-form audio stories into suitable treatments for appealing videos
  • You will have excellent communication and organisational skills
  • You have experience of working within a team and collaborating with other teams.
