Job description

The Assembly Rooms is one of London’s leading offline film editing companies with a roster of award-winning editors specialising in commercials, promos, shorts, features and documentaries.

We are looking for a driven and dedicated Producer/Office Manager to join our team, with at least 1-2 years experience in a production role (shoot or post).

As well as possessing impeccable organisational and communications skills, you should be creatively driven and comfortable in a client-facing role. The ideal candidate would also be able to demonstrate a good understanding of post-production workflows. As a small company, we are looking for a team player, who is an excellent multitasker and comfortable balancing producing with various front of house & office manager responsibilities.

The position will offer a great deal of creative industry exposure and there is plenty of scope for the role to be moulded to suit individual interests and talents.

Day-to-day duties of the role will include:
  1. Greeting clients
  2. Booking and scheduling editor’s diaries
  3. Reading scripts and treatments & pitching editors for work
  4. Quoting and negotiating costs for and invoicing commercial/promo content for a wide variety of high-profile clients
  5. Managing and tracking costs
  6. Assisting our bookkeeper with accounts protocol
  7. Supporting the wider team with social media PR posting and potential for further PR involvement for the right candidate
  8. Identifying and developing new business opportunities and successfully maintaining existing relationships
  9. Project management and allocation of resources on projects
  10. Assisting with office management and general admin
  11. Managing and assisting the runners

Salary dependent on experience.
