Your Role

We’re looking for a confident producer to shape the future of Hits Radio 90s and help it evolve into a national success.

Job Purpose

As Producer for Hits Radio (Sub-Brands), you’ll work directly with presenters to deliver compelling content aligned with our brand strategy. You’ll manage the technical execution of live shows and oversee the delivery of pre-recorded programmes, ensuring everything meets our high standards and complies with Ofcom regulations.

The Team

You’ll be part of a passionate and ambitious content team within Bauer’s Audio division, reporting to the Deputy Director of the Hits Radio Network. You’ll also collaborate with our Operations Producers and Enterprise team to deliver seamless programming and contesting.

Working Pattern/Location

This is a full-time, permanent role based in our Newcastle studios, Monday to Friday, 5:30am – 2:00pm (breakfast show).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of the daily breakfast programme.
  • Ensure timely and fault-free delivery of all pre-recorded content.
  • Brief presenters on commercial and editorial content.
  • Resolve live technical issues in collaboration with Operations Producers.
  • Manage studio bookings and logistics for pre-recorded shows.
  • Uphold compliance with the Ofcom Broadcasting Code.
