Job description

Banijay UK is looking for a PRODUCER for a major new primetime entertainment show for SKY.

DATES: 25th August 2025 to mid June 2026

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead the editorial and logistical planning of street sequences, managing the shoot from development through to filming.
• Collaborate directly with the talent, street-casting contributors on the ground and shaping scenes that feel authentic, surprising and rooted in place.
• Scout and secure suitable public locations in coordination with local fixers and US production partners.
• Work closely with the Series Producer to ensure sequences connect to the overarching narrative of each episode.
• Liaise with the Stunt Unit to complement the episode’s thematic build-up.
• Contribute to creative problem-solving and on-the-fly editorial pivots when scenes need to evolve on the road.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL BE:
• A self-starting, editorially sharp producer with a track record in unscripted or factual-ent formats, ideally with experience shooting in the US.
• Experienced in casting contributors in the field; approaching strangers, building rapport fast, and drawing out compelling reactions and stories.
• Familiar with filming in live, uncontrolled environments, including managing crews, permissions and location challenges.
• A clear communicator and strong collaborator, able to work hand-in-hand with both production management and creative teams
• Calm under pressure, good-humoured, and up for the unpredictable chaos of a road trip show.
Bonus points for:
• Background in short-form docs, social experiments, or travelogues.
• US filming visas or a strong network of local fixers and location contacts.

This position will be a mix of working from the London office and being on location for foreign filming in the US.
It is essential that you are on location for filming, in addition to the two recces and tech recce prior to filming.
• Both the recces and the tech recce will each last around 10 days - taking place end of October/November and December.
• The filming is split in two blocks, each approximately being 3 weeks - taking place in March/April and May/June
