Job summary

Escape Recruitment partners with a well-established Scottish operation to appoint a Procurement Team Leader in Grangemouth. You will lead and mentor a team of Category Buyers and Administrators, shaping procurement strategy and delivering value across the business.

You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive continuous improvement while partnering with stakeholders throughout the Scottish Operations. This is a hands-on leadership role with varied priorities.

Qualifications

• Experienced in procurement, category management, supplier management and P2P processes.
• Previous experience of managing and mentoring a team.
• Strong relationship builder who engages stakeholders across the business.
• Commercially minded with negotiation and decision-making skills.
• Confident, credible leader able to influence and decide.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop the Procurement Team with coaching and direction.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across the Scottish Operations.
• Manage supplier relationships, sourcing, negotiations and contracts.
• Develop and deliver procurement strategies across spend categories.
• Use P2P data and Excel to identify cost savings and efficiencies.
• Oversee day-to-day procurement activity ensuring compliance and commercial focus.
• Drive continuous improvement and handle multiple priorities.
• Support Head of Procurement with strategic initiatives and deputy duties.
