Procurement and Supply Chain Systems and Data Manager

Location: Oxfordshire | Band 7 | Permanent | 37.5 hours/week

Overview:

A key leadership opportunity for a digital-savvy professional to manage and develop procurement systems, data flows, and business intelligence within a complex healthcare environment. You'll lead a small team, enhance digital capabilities, and support organisational improvements through technology and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on systems management (e.g., Atamis, Ingenica 360, GHX, NEP, PAM)
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and data reports
  • Promote data quality and governance across procurement functions
  • Manage a small Systems & Data team (planning, delegation, performance)
  • Support digitisation and automation of procurement and supply chain processes
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify needs and deliver insights
  • Oversee integration of inventory and procurement systems

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience managing procurement or digital systems in a complex organisation
  • Track record of delivering data-led projects and reporting solutions
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable:

  • Experience with NHS procurement systems and processes
  • Knowledge of Scan4Safety, inventory management, or strategic sourcing tools
