Reporting to the Procurement Systems Business Partner; based at our Chichester office location, this post offers the right individual the chance to work within the Procurement Systems team to keep things running smoothly and effect updates and changes aimed at supporting the Trust to deliver excellent clinical services and patient care.

Main duties of the job

The Procurement Systems Administrator will support the Procurement Systems Manager in the maintenance of procurement system catalogues, the contract database and other standing data in procurement system and ensured the related integrity of such data. The post-holder will support the delivery of procurement systems training and will assist user in the resolution of system generated queries.

The Procurement Systems Administrator will produce and analyse routine procurement reports and data ensuring that agreed reporting deadlines are met.

  • Strong IT and analytical skills: Microsoft Office
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and effectively manage priorities
  • Good verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Experience in delivering training to non-specialist staff
  • Ability to present and explain procurement matters to all levels
  • Hold or working toward Data Analyst or other relevant accreditation
  • In depth understanding of Oracle P2P
  • Understanding of NHS eDC, Nexus and other systems used across Procurement
