Job Responsibilities:
  • Drive purchasing & supply chain strategies to optimise efficiency and minimise costs, including effective negotiating, building relationships with key suppliers, and analyzing data.
  • Manage the purchasing process, including buying, supplying, and distribution. Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products at competitive prices.
  • Monitor inventory levels and develop inventory management strategies to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Forecast demand for products and services.
  • Control and improve transport costs.
  • Handle import and export documentation, staying updated with regulations post-Brexit.
  • Research to identify the best products and suppliers based on value, delivery, and quality.
  • Analyze and report on supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
The Successful Candidate:
  • At least 5 years' experience managing the Supply Chain in the FMCG industry.
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred.
  • Strategically minded with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for building relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Experience working with international suppliers.
  • Strong numeracy skills and experience with process automation.
