Procurement Specialist
Would suit a proven Procurement Specialist, Supply Chain Specialist, or Technical Buyer who has worked within an engineering or manufacturing business.

Join a market leader, based near Warwick, who manufacture bespoke automation machinery used across various sectors. They are passionate and dynamic, leading the drive for cutting-edge technology within their market. This business has developed a culture that prides itself on being friendly, ambitious, and has good employee tenure. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods, materials, and services to meet the company's operational needs.
Salary & Benefits:
£35,000 to £40,000 basic salary plus multiple bonuses.
36 days annual leave (including bank holidays), with an option to purchase an additional 5 days.
7.5% pension contribution.
Work from home flexibility and flexible working hours.
Additional paid overtime.
The Procurement Specialist role would suit:
Proven ability to strategically negotiate deals within a manufacturing environment.
Strategic, results-oriented, with the ability to plan and meet project deadlines.
Skilled at building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
Ability to add value, reduce costs, and implement business improvements.
Experience in supplier management and development.
The role involves:
Collaborating with stakeholders and suppliers to procure goods, materials, components, and services in line with cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Developing ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, and promote continuous improvement.
Negotiating contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers to achieve savings.
Assessing quotations and tenders from potential suppliers.
