Role responsibilities of the Procurement Specialist include:

  • Support internal stakeholders by sourcing products from UK and overseas markets in line with client specifications and tenders
  • Creating purchase orders and expediting shipments to adhere to lead times and maintain a steady supply chain.
  • Manage product costs and inventory levels to meet customer demands
  • Identifying and proposing new product opportunities aligned with corporate strategy
  • Participation in the qualification and onboarding of new vendors into the supply chain
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and SOPs

Person Specification of the Procurement Specialist:

  • Experience with international procurement experience, within a pharmaceutical environment is essential
  • Strong negotiation skills and a commercially driven mindset
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills
