SF Partners is seeking a Buying & Project Coordinator to join their procurement and supply chain division in North Leicestershire. This full-time, permanent role focuses on buying, material planning and project coordination to support continued growth.

The ideal candidate will multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to time management. Salary ranges from GBP 30,000 to GBP 40,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal stakeholders, client and contractors to keep projects on track within deadlines
• Source and onboard suppliers to meet product demand
• Obtain and evaluate competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
• Prepare cost estimates, tender submissions and proposals per client requirements
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, pricing and project documents
• Manage multiple tenders and deadlines with precision
• Ensure all purchasing and project invoices are filed and approved before finance review
• Deliver first-class service to support the growth of the business

Job Title: Buying & Project Coordinator

Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP40,000 (DOE)

The procurement and supply chain division at SF Partners are currently working with a really exciting business who has experienced continuous successful growth which finds them looking for the next hire to join their business.

This role is a total mix of Buying, Material Planning and Project Coordination, so I am looking to speak to individuals that are able to multitask and thrive within an ever changing, fast paced working environment.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with internal stakeholders, client and contractors to ensure the project runs smoothly within agreed timeframes.
• Sourcing and onboarding of selective suppliers to meet product demands.
• Obtain and evaluate competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors - utilising your negotiation skills.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender submissions and proposals in line with client requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, pricing information and project documentation.
• Managing multiple tenders and deadlines with precision.
• Ensuring all purchasing and project related invoices are filed correctly and approved before sharing with the finance team.
• Delivering a first-class service to support with continuity of growth of the business.

Qualifications

• Successful candidate will come from either a project, planning or buying background, ideally within the construction industry, but not essential.
• A true team player and have the ability to prioritise your daily duties within a fast-paced working environment.
• Proactive with your time.
• Excellent communication skills - have the ability to develop relationships at all levels both internally and externally.
