Procurement Specialist

Do you have at least 1 year of procurement experience?

I am supporting a growing business in their search for an excellent communicator, with proven ability to work flexibly and accurately, and as part of a team.

The role will involve managing a portfolio of clients to ensure all procurement activities are carried out in a professional and timely manner.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Working with suppliers to maximise customer satisfaction and profitability.
2. Supporting with forecasting activities where needed.
3. Price management.
4. Identifying cost-saving opportunities where possible.
5. Managing dates and risks for internal replenishment; working to identify problem areas and corrective actions.
6. Ensuring all suppliers provide order confirmations within 48 hours and following up on missing confirmations.
7. Reviewing suppliers with frequent date changes and late communication, conducting performance reviews, and working with them for improvements.
