Job description

Infor is seeking an enthusiastic Meetings and Events Procurement Specialist to join our Vendor Management Events team. This team provides global sourcing support for meetings and events of various capacities, collaborating effectively with stakeholders, suppliers, and internal business partners to achieve strategic sourcing goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage corporate contracts for Marketing/Meetings/Events to leverage buying power and maintain consistent standards across the organisation.
  • Manage the overall meeting and event sourcing process, ensuring adherence to Infor and Koch-wide best practices, internal financial controls, and processes
  • Work with strategic suppliers, RFP and RFQ preparation, review and analysis, negotiations, and contract review.
  • Review purchase requests and ensure appropriate approvals
  • Secure and communicate market conditions, trends, and forecasts on marketing/meetings/events landscape.
  • Ensure sound financial, legal and reputational controls are in place to safeguard company assets
  • Provide an analytical focus to processes and drive improvements leading to long-term value capture
Basic Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in Marketing M&E services procurement.
  • International sourcing experience.
  • Experience in travel & expense, accounting, or finance.
  • Experience working with internal financial control standards and processes.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Having developed and implemented strategic M&E (meetings & events) programs
  • Proficiency in Cvent or other meeting management tools
  • Experience with strategic meeting management suppliers and platforms
  • Strong customer focus
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong influence and consultative skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft applications
