Overview

We are representing a global consultancy who are looking to hire a Senior IT Procurement Specialist to join their UK Procurement team for a 6 month period on a mostly remote basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver IT and Telco procurement projects, working closely with senior business stakeholders and vendors. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has good experience in sourcing, vendor, and contract management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full end-to-end sourcing processes (RFx, negotiation, contract signature)
• Provide procurement support to bids and business units
• Manage vendor performance, relationships, and contracts
• Track cost savings and support financial planning
• Work with global category teams and implement local sourcing strategies
• Utilise tools like SAP eSourcing and MS Office for procurement activities

• Proven experience in IT procurement (hardware, software, and services)
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
• Skilled in negotiation, contract drafting, and commercial governance
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently and remotely
