Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Buyer to lead end-to-end procurement, sourcing, and supplier management. The role requires negotiating pricing, long-term agreements, and ensuring AS9100 compliance in contract execution.

You will support production planning and drive cost reduction while collaborating with Engineering and Production teams. Eligibility for access to classified information and security checks are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience as a buyer with end-to-end procurement responsibilities.
• Proven ability to negotiate pricing and long-term agreements.
• Strong supplier performance management and evaluation skills.
• Experience supporting production planning activities.
• Knowledge of AS9100 quality standards and contractual compliance.
• Right to work in the UK and eligibility for access to classified information.
• Subject to government security checks.
