Procurement Specialist

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, with an increase upon successful completion of a 6-month probation.

Hours: 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday

Location: Halo ARC Bognor Regis

Willingness to travel to our site locations as needed.

Partnered with IRS (Intelligent Repair Services) based in Germany, the largest provider of accident claim services in Europe, providing Halo with an unrivalled platform for training, development, and employee packages.

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our Accident Repair Centre business. You will support the Procurement Manager in developing procurement frameworks and strategies, sourcing and purchasing goods & services, and supporting the strategic direction of procurement.

You will work closely with the Procurement Manager in a modern, fast-paced environment, managing contracts, supplier relationships, and the entire procurement process.

The role includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Building a world-class Procurement function to support our growth.
  2. Overseeing daily procurement operations across all sites.
  3. Setting up procurement frameworks for new site launches.
  4. Forecasting spend, tracking budgets, and analyzing trends.
  5. Negotiating stronger commercial terms leveraging Halo’s growth.
  6. Managing and developing a junior buyer.
  7. Creating, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
  8. Ensuring value through Total Cost Ownership (TCO).
  9. Driving a centralized procurement function through SharePoint, automation, and AI.
  10. Ensuring accurate PO processes and supplier compliance.
  11. Working in a results-driven, fast-paced environment.

Requirements include:

  • 5+ years’ experience in supplier negotiations and SLA drafting.
  • Strong contract and supplier management skills.
  • Ability to analyze spend data and drive efficiencies.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency in IT; SAP experience advantageous.
  • Experience working to tight deadlines and budgets.
  • Willingness to travel for site openings.
