Procurement Senior Associate/Associate Solicitor – Bristol

A leading national firm with a strong reputation for its work in the public sector is looking to hire an Associate/Senior Associate level Solicitor for its Procurement team. This is a chance to join a highly regarded group advising central government, local authorities and major public bodies on some of the most complex and high-profile projects in the UK.

The Role

You’ll be at the heart of a diverse practice, advising on:

  • Public procurement law, including structuring and delivering major projects across infrastructure, housing, health, education and regeneration
  • Drafting and negotiating grant funding agreements for public bodies and private sector partners
  • Subsidy control law
  • Cross-disciplinary work alongside energy, infrastructure and projects lawyers
  • Competition law matters, with scope to develop in this area
What experience is desired?
  • 5+ PQE with strong procurement law expertise (public contracts regulations, contentious and non-contentious)
  • Experience in subsidy control and drafting grant funding agreements
  • Familiarity with competition law and public/administrative law is advantageous
