Salary c£42,931 - £47,700 pro-rata

About the Role

As theProcurement Policy and Continuous Improvement Manager, you will:

  • Be the go-to expert for procurement policy across the organisation
    Lead on developing and implementing best-practice frameworks and guidance
    Drive a culture of continuous improvement and governance excellence
    Collaborate across departments to future-proof procurement activity
    Champion training, upskilling, and knowledge sharing for sustainable procurement capability
    Contribute to strategic transformation and policy development at a high level

You’ll be instrumental in ensuring that procurement is efficient, effective, and aligned with organisational objectives, regulatory frameworks, and value-for-money principles.

What We’re Looking For

  • Working towards or holding CIPS qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong knowledge of procurement legislation, governance, and public sector best practice
  • A track record of successful policy development and project delivery
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver at pace
  • Experience in public sector procurement
  • Understanding of supply chain dynamics
  • Experience advising and engaging with senior leaders
