VANRATH is assisting a large Public Sector Organisation in recruiting a Procurement Officer for their team in Newtownabbey. The annual salary is £39,000.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage tendering and quotation processes, including evaluation, negotiation, and committee recommendations.
  • Provide procurement advice to officers, managers, and Directors regarding policies and procedures.
  • Maintain procurement records such as policies, tender opportunities, and contracts.
  • Coordinate with external procurement bodies for collaborative purchasing opportunities.
  • Support contract management to ensure quality, value, and compliance.
  • Assist in developing and reviewing strategic procurement policies.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service, managing queries and complaints.
  • Promote equality and diversity in service delivery.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant procurement experience and current pursuit of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply membership.
  • Or, at least 4 years' procurement experience with willingness to attain membership within 3 years.
  • Experience in Public Sector Procurement.
