Job Description



Key duties for the Procurement Officer include:

  • Provide proactive procurement support across the organisation, ensuring compliance with policies and driving best practice.
  • Act as the first point of contact for sourcing queries and supplier relationship management, including tender support.
  • Set up and maintain procurement contracts in line with internal policies.
  • Support procurement systems and manage supplier data as needed.
  • Lead category management and act as supplier manager for designated spend areas.
  • Assist with procurement training and supplier performance monitoring.
  • Support daily procurement operations and collaborate closely with Legal to ensure consistent controls.
  • Work with Internal Comms to keep procurement content (e.g., intranet, policies, guidance) up to date.
  • Stay informed on procurement trends, legislation, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement.


The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Officer should have:

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier engagement.
  • Experience supporting tender processes, managing procurement systems, and ensuring policy compliance across a complex organisation.
