Procurement Officer needed in Nottingham Paying £19.66 per hr ref 1545998

Full time hours on a temporarybasis

  • Key Responsibilities
    • Manage low-risk and low/medium-value procurement processes across a range of goods and services.
    • Collaborate with commissioners to develop and finalise service specifications.
    • Lead mini-competitions through national and local framework agreements.
    • Support Senior Procurement Officers on high-value (above OJEU threshold) procurements.
    • Provide guidance on procurement best practices and ensure compliance with legislation.
    • Monitor and report on supplier and category spend to inform strategic decisions.
    • Conduct market research and benchmarking to support category strategies.
    • Resolve supplier and customer queries efficiently and professionally.
    • Administer procurement-related processes within the Business Management System (BMS).
    • Contribute to procurement improvement initiatives, including developing standards and strategies.
    • Engage in continuous professional development, including CIPS or equivalent training.
