Sea Global are delighted to be partnering with a leading London-based airport, which is looking to expand its team as the procurement function continues to grow. They are in the final stages of building a new procurement system and are seeking to add a procurement professional to support the team during this busy phase and beyond.

Reporting to the Senior Category Manager, the ideal candidate will have a few years of experience within procurement and be comfortable running public tenders. Experience across different indirect categories is preferred, and candidates from various industries with knowledge of public or utilities contract regulations are encouraged to apply.

Role & Responsibilities

1. Support the delivery of strategic category strategies across multiple spend areas.
2. Assist in procurement and category management using best practices, including sourcing and managing large tenders within regulatory frameworks.
3. Negotiate prices with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with internal colleagues and external suppliers.
5. Support Senior Category Managers and the Head of Procurement with ongoing projects as needed.

Experience & Requirements

• Experience working in a procurement or buying role across indirect categories.
• Knowledge of FTS (Find a Tender Service) and Public or Utilities Contract Regulations.
• Ability to independently run tenders and manage end-to-end procurement processes.
• Confident, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
