Job summary

Henderson Brown Recruitment is recruiting a Procurement Manager for a growing health-focused manufacturer in Lincolnshire. The role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

You will lead a small procurement team and own supplier performance, sourcing, negotiation, cost control and procurement improvement. You will shape procurement, bring structure and commercial discipline, and influence stakeholders across Supply Chain, Production, Technical, Quality and Finance.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing procurement or supply chain.
• Commercially sharp with ability to lead people through change.
• Proven track record delivering cost savings and supplier improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a procurement team of three and manage supplier base across direct materials, ingredients, packaging, services and indirect spend.
• Improve supplier performance around cost, quality, service, OTIF and risk.
• Negotiate with suppliers and improve commercial terms.
• Deliver cost savings, cost avoidance and total cost of ownership improvements.
• Strengthen sourcing, tendering, contracting and supplier review processes.
• Support supplier diversification and reduce supply chain risk.
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Production, Technical, Quality, NPD, Finance and senior stakeholders.
• Help build a more structured, proactive and commercially focused procurement function.
