- Managing project procurement from market engagement to contract award, ensuring alignment with client objectives and compliance with Public Contracts Regulations, with a client-focused mindset and confidence in managing complex stakeholder environments.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Required:
- Ideally MRICS, MCIPS, or equivalent professional chartership.
- 5+ years' experience leading multiple procurements of large-scale civil infrastructure or construction projects.
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement, delivery models, routes to market, and contract strategies.
- Familiarity with standard form contracts including NEC and FIDIC.
- Skilled in market engagement, supplier analysis, and commercial risk assessment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to tight deadlines and budgets.
- Confident in delegating effectively and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
