Job summary

Distinct Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager – Category Manager in Leeds. You will lead end-to-end sourcing, negotiate supplier contracts, manage performance and risk, and develop governance to strengthen procurement controls.

Collaborating with Finance, Risk, Legal and IT, you’ll drive cost savings and KPI reporting while shaping procurement strategy in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Indirect procurement/strategic sourcing or supplier management experience.
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
• Experience developing procurement processes and supplier governance.
• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across the business.
• Excellent organisational skills and commercial awareness.
• Experience in regulated environments is advantageous.

Are you an experienced Procurement professional looking to shape and develop procurement strategy within a growing, regulated business?

We're looking for a commercially minded Procurement Manager | Category Manager to lead procurement activity, strengthen supplier governance and drive value across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to establish best practice, influence senior stakeholders and play a key role in managing supplier relationships and third-party risk.

Location: Leeds (Hybrid - 3 days office, 2 days home)

Salary: £55,000 per annum
