Job Description:

Job Title: Procurement Manager, Global Enterprise Technology - 12 month FTC

Purpose of the Role:

This role involves taking ownership of strategic procurement for Enterprise Technology spend globally, focusing on value for money, robust agreements, and supplier relationship management, aligned with dentsu's strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage strategic procurement of Enterprise Technology spend (e.g., End User Computing, Tech Ops, Cloud Infrastructure, Cyber Security).
  2. Collaborate with global, regional, and local executives to deliver procurement solutions.
  3. Negotiate agreements globally, balancing various regional and brand needs.
  4. Manage global contract renewals.
  5. Support strategic suppliers with contract and performance management, implementing SRM techniques.
  6. Work with the Sustainable Procurement manager on sustainability initiatives.
  7. Lead business-as-usual activities like supplier selection, contract implementation, negotiations, and continuous improvement.
  8. Engage with technology vendors such as Microsoft, Google, Cisco, AWS, Atlassian.
  9. Identify risks, budget implications, and mitigation strategies, presenting to executive levels.
  10. Line management responsibilities.

Qualifications + Skills:

  1. End-to-end knowledge of vendor engagement and strategic sourcing.
  2. Experience with technology/SaaS procurement, negotiations.
  3. Understanding of license models, cloud architecture, and cost models.
  4. Experience working with leading global technology vendors.
  5. Procurement experience across multiple countries.
  6. Knowledge of contractual law, financial reporting, and modeling.
  7. People management experience.
  8. Working towards or CIPS / MCIPS qualification preferred.
