Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Procurement Manager with a specialist HV electrical components background to lead and shape the procurement function. This role offers hybrid working with occasional site visits, and a strong emphasis on strategic sourcing and relationship management.

The position covers end-to-end procurement, including transformers, switchgear and cables, ensuring on-time delivery and cost-effective purchasing.

• Ability to deliver projects on time with cost-effective sourcing.

• Liaise with component suppliers and clients.

• Procure electrical components including switchgears, transformers, and cables.
• Ensure components are delivered to strict project deadlines.
• Work 40 hours per week, 8:00 - 5:00, Hybrid work opportunities.

Are you a Procurement Manager with a background in sourcing HV Electrical components, including transformers, switchgear, and cabling, looking for an autonomous, technically varied position within a specialist company in an exciting period of growth and development?

In this role you will be responsible for the shaping and development of the procurement department, driving strategic improvements across purchasing operations, maintaining client relationships, and overseeing end-to-end supply chain management. You will use your expertise to source high-quality, cost-effective components, ensuring projects are delivered within strict deadlines. This role is primarily office based, with hybrid opportunities, and rare site visits to meet clients.
