Job summary

1st Executive Ltd in London is seeking a Procurement Consultant to influence major infrastructure and capital projects. You will advise clients across the procurement lifecycle, from early market engagement and commercial strategy through to contract award, within a collaborative consultancy environment.

Ideal candidates have proven public sector procurement experience in infrastructure or construction, a degree, knowledge of NEC contracts, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to work

Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering complex public sector procurement projects within infrastructure or construction.
  • Degree qualification or related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of UK Public Procurement regulations and governance.
  • Experience with NEC contracts and stakeholder management.
  • Security clearance requirements for client work.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to complex end-to-end procurement exercises across major infrastructure and construction projects.
  • Manage competitive tender processes from pre-procurement planning through to contract award.
  • Draft procurement documentation and evaluate supplier submissions.
  • Provide strategic advice on NEC, FIDIC and other standard form contracts.
  • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, programme and budget objectives are achieved.
  • Contribute to business development activities, client relationship management and winning new work.

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading international construction and property consultancy renowned for delivering commercial, procurement and project management expertise across complex infrastructure projects. This is an opportunity to work with major public and private sector clients, helping shape procurement strategies that deliver long-term value on nationally important programmes.

Working within a collaborative consultancy environment, you'll advise clients throughout the procurement lifecycle, from early market engagement and commercial strategy through to contract award, while developing trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
