About the Role
- Seeking Procurement Consultants / Managers to support major civil infrastructure programmes shaping the economy and the built environment.
- Work within multi-sector teams on high-profile projects across transport, utilities, highways, rail, and wider public infrastructure.
- Opportunity to develop leadership skills and play a key role in project delivery and team development.
- Expected to hold (or be working towards) MRICS, MCIPS, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Consultancy background, with a proven client-focused mindset and confidence in managing complex stakeholder environments.
- Contribute to business growth through relationship building, supporting work winning, and mentoring junior team members.
- Take ownership of project procurement from market engagement to contract award, ensuring alignment with client objectives and compliance with Public Contracts Regulations.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Degree qualified in a construction-related discipline.
- MRICS, MCIPS, or equivalent professional chartership.
- 5+ years' experience leading multiple procurements of large-scale civil infrastructure or construction projects.
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement, delivery models, routes to market, and contract strategies.
- Familiarity with standard form contracts including NEC and FIDIC.
- Skilled in market engagement, supplier analysis, and commercial risk assessment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to tight deadlines and budgets.
- Confident in delegating effectively, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Client-focused approach, dedicated to building strong relationships and exceeding expectations.
- Business development experience beneficial.
