About the Role

  • Seeking Procurement Consultants / Managers to support major civil infrastructure programmes shaping the economy and the built environment.
  • Work within multi-sector teams on high-profile projects across transport, utilities, highways, rail, and wider public infrastructure.
  • Opportunity to develop leadership skills and play a key role in project delivery and team development.
  • Expected to hold (or be working towards) MRICS, MCIPS, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Consultancy background, with a proven client-focused mindset and confidence in managing complex stakeholder environments.

  • Take ownership of project procurement from market engagement to contract award, ensuring alignment with client objectives and compliance with Public Contracts Regulations.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Degree qualified in a construction-related discipline.
  • MRICS, MCIPS, or equivalent professional chartership.
  • 5+ years' experience leading multiple procurements of large-scale civil infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement, delivery models, routes to market, and contract strategies.
  • Familiarity with standard form contracts including NEC and FIDIC.
  • Skilled in market engagement, supplier analysis, and commercial risk assessment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to tight deadlines and budgets.
  • Confident in delegating effectively, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Client-focused approach, dedicated to building strong relationships and exceeding expectations.
  • Business development experience beneficial.
