Location: Home-Based (with regular site travel)

Salary: Up to £70,000 Per annum + Car Allowance + Bonus + Pension + Private Medical + Hybrid Working + Holiday Purchase Scheme & More

A prominent consumer goods company is launching a significant capital transformation programme and is seeking a high-impact Procurement Manager to lead this initiative.

This newly created and strategically important role will oversee all Capex procurement activities across multiple UK manufacturing sites. It offers a unique opportunity to develop and execute sourcing strategies for a diverse portfolio of complex, high-value projects — from specialised equipment and civil works to critical support services. With high visibility and autonomy, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to senior leadership, to enhance procurement capability, deliver commercial value, and improve project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sourcing and procurement for capital projects: machinery, engineering services, civil works
• Manage end-to-end project delivery across UK sites
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with capital investment objectives
• Process Improvement & Governance: Support transformation initiatives to enhance procurement governance, controls, and efficiency
• Develop tools, frameworks, and supplier strategies to optimise spend
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted relationships across engineering, operations, finance, and leadership
• Promote cross-functional collaboration and influence decision-making

Key Requirements:

• Extensive capital procurement experience in FMCG, food, beverage, or pharmaceutical sectors
• Proven track record in sourcing equipment, civil works, and technical services (CAPEX)
• Experience with MRO procurement is a plus
• Ability to work autonomously and adapt to change
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple workstreams
• Aspiring to grow into a procurement leadership role
