Location: Home-Based (with regular site travel)

A prominent consumer goods company is launching a significant capital transformation programme and seeks a high-impact Procurement Manager to lead this initiative.

This role will oversee all Capex procurement activities across multiple UK manufacturing sites. It offers a unique opportunity to develop sourcing strategies for complex, high-value projects, including equipment and civil works. You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to senior leadership, to enhance procurement capabilities, deliver value, and ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sourcing and procurement for capital projects: machinery, engineering services, civil works
• Manage end-to-end project delivery across UK sites
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with capital investment goals
• Support procurement governance, controls, and efficiency improvements
• Create tools, frameworks, and supplier strategies to optimize spend
• Build relationships with engineering, operations, finance, and leadership teams
• Promote cross-functional collaboration and influence decision-making

Key Requirements:

• Extensive capital procurement experience in FMCG, food, drink, or pharma sectors
• Proven track record in CAPEX sourcing for equipment, civil works, and technical services
• MRO procurement experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and adapt to change
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple workstreams
• Aspiring to grow into a procurement leadership role
