Procurement Manager (CAPEX) - Leading High Growth FMCG Organisation

Location: Home-Based (with regular site travel)

Salary: Up to £70,000 Per annum + Car Allowance + Bonus + Pension + Private Medical + Hybrid Working + Holiday Purchase Scheme & More

A prominent consumer goods company is launching a significant capital transformation programme and seeks a high-impact Procurement Manager to lead this initiative.

This newly created, strategic role will oversee all Capex procurement across multiple UK manufacturing sites, managing complex, high-value projects from equipment to civil works. You will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, enhancing procurement capabilities, commercial value, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sourcing and procurement for capital projects: machinery, engineering services, civil works
  • Drive project delivery across UK sites
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with capital investment goals
  • Support procurement governance, controls, and efficiency improvements
  • Create tools, frameworks, and supplier strategies to optimize spend

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build relationships across engineering, operations, finance, and leadership
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration and influence decisions

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive capital procurement experience in FMCG, food, drink, or pharma
  • Proven track record in CAPEX sourcing: equipment, civil works, technical services
  • Experience with MRO procurement is a plus
  • Ability to operate independently and manage change
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Organized, self-motivated, confident across multiple workstreams
  • Aspiring to grow into procurement leadership
