An exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement transformation professional, with a highly respected Financial Services client…

We are partnering with a leading Financial Services client in the search for an experienced Procurement Manager with business transformation experience.

We are looking for Procurement professionals who have demonstrable experience in complex business transformation projects. This is not a category-led role; you will be working on projects that require outsourcing and third-party delivery across a range of supply commodities including external consulting, finance systems, marketing, IT, and HR.

You will be delivering business partnering and commercial support to the business for complex sourcing requirements, which involves end-to-end procurement processes, typically including sourcing events. You should be capable of developing a deep understanding of business needs and building credible relationships with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand business needs, identify cost-saving opportunities, manage demand effectively, and address third-party risk management (TPRM) issues.
  2. Lead and manage end-to-end strategic and tactical sourcing projects across multiple categories, selecting appropriate sourcing methods, following formal processes, and transitioning projects to the business and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
  3. Proactively identify new sourcing initiatives through strong relationships with business leads and the change team.
  4. Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with third parties.
  5. Support budget holders in optimizing their budgets and delivering business requirements at the best value with minimized risks.
  6. Identify and deliver cost-saving and cost-avoidance opportunities to meet budget targets, and produce MI reports as required.
  7. Collaborate with Procurement category managers to ensure transformation projects align with activities in IT, Professional Services, and Corporate Services categories, reflecting corporate objectives.

Our client operates a hybrid working model with 2 days a week in the office, with locations in central London and Surrey.
