A reputable non-profit organization based in North Manchester is seeking a self-motivated and experienced Procurement and Supplier Relationship Manager to join their friendly team. The company has won multiple awards over the years and has gained an excellent reputation within the market. They are looking to appoint this role on a permanent, full-time basis.

Your new role
As Procurement & Supplier Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for strategic procurement activities within your category areas, which include asset management, asset compliance, building safety, and minor works. You will provide expert guidance and support to stakeholders on best practice procurement and contract management to deliver optimal value for money.

You will develop category management strategies within asset management and lead procurement projects in this area. The Procurement Manager will ensure compliance with financial, procurement, and relevant legislative regulations, and will support contract and supplier relationship management to ensure robust practices are in place.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven procurement experience within the public or non-profit sectors, with knowledge of relevant procurement regulations
• Category experience in Asset Management / Asset compliance / Building Safety and Minor Works (or similar)
• Ideally MCIPS qualified, but this is not essential
• Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
• Confident negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
