We are seeking a Group Procurement Manager to join our Procurement team in London, Bristol, Liverpool, or Manchester for an initial 12-month fixed term contract. The role involves working closely with the Head of Procurement on all aspects of the procurement lifecycle, leading various sub-categories, and focusing on integrating acquired entities within set timeframes. Collaboration across Procurement, M&A integration teams, and wider stakeholders is essential to ensure third-party engagements add value. The role includes negotiating deals to reduce costs and enhance service delivery.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced procurement environment, managing supplier risk, developing supplier relationships, and driving innovation. Responsibilities include acting as the first contact for categories and M&A projects, working as a Business Partner with stakeholders, managing procurement processes, supporting high-value projects, deputising for the Head of Procurement, identifying savings, managing procurement pipelines, conducting negotiations, owning the procurement process from start to finish, and ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
Qualifications include proven experience in indirect procurement, end-to-end strategic procurement, M&A experience, knowledge of property lease and facilities contracts, stakeholder influence skills, data analysis capabilities, contract drafting and interpretation skills, strong negotiation and supplier management skills, procurement category management understanding, experience with eSourcing platforms, and proficiency in MS Office. A degree and MCIPS qualification or progress towards it are required, with desirability for Prince2/APM certifications.
