Construction Procurement Manager - Defence Sector

Are you a strategic thinking construction Procurement Manager looking to work on major projects? Join our dynamic procurement team in the Defence sector.

If you are passionate about relationship building, sustainable procurement, achieving best value, and problem solving, we value your expertise. You will play a key role in developing procurement strategies, policies, and processes, leveraging your supply chain management skills to foster collaboration and enhance project delivery.

As a Procurement Manager, you will work with the Senior Procurement Manager on procurement strategy, oversee project procurement objectives, and support tendering, market analysis, and supplier selection.

Key Duties include:
  • Providing market intelligence, cost advice, and supply chain performance feedback
  • Supporting procurement professionals through training, staff appraisals, and recruitment
  • Managing procurement of subcontractors, materials, plant, and services in line with project strategies
  • Providing management information and reports as required
  • Building effective relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers to ensure value

Desirable qualifications include CIPS or equivalent, CIOB, or RICS chartership. Relevant in-job experience will also be considered. Candidates should be able to access project offices in Dartford or Manchester.
