Procurement Manager - Ireland

Location: Blanchardstown, Dublin

Additional travel: Weekly travel to other sites (company car provided)

About the Role:

We're seeking a strategic and innovative Procurement Manager to join Veolia. This position offers the opportunity to drive transformational value creation across our Ireland business unit, with emphasis on Energy and Water projects and Asset Maintenance.

Position Overview:

The Procurement Manager serves as a strategic advisor to key business units, aligning procurement strategies with business objectives.

This role connects procurement and business operations, promoting collaboration and innovation, particularly in project procurement and asset maintenance.

The position is part of the UK and Ireland Procurement team, reporting to the Head of Procurement Business Partnering for Industrial, Water, and Energy Business.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with business unit leaders

• Create and implement procurement strategies that deliver measurable business value

• Lead sustainable sourcing initiatives and ESG implementation

• Manage complex project procurement in Energy and Water sectors

• Develop and oversee asset maintenance procurement strategies

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and change management

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years procurement experience

• Construction industry background preferred, with knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and tendering

• Asset maintenance procurement expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field

• Either MCIPS qualified or actively working toward qualification

Essential Skills:

• Strategic procurement and business partnership capabilities

• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities

• Financial management and data analysis proficiency

• Change management experience

• Knowledge of maintenance and facilities management contracts

• Commitment to sustainability principles
