  • Lead the end-to-end ordering process, ensuring timelines, specifications, and quality standards are met
  • Support quoting and proposal processes, including participation in bid defences
  • Monitor sourcing KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and uphold best sourcing behaviours
  • Work cross-functionally with account managers, regulatory, QA, and logistics to ensure seamless execution
  • Ensure full compliance with GDP, SOPs, health & safety, anti-bribery, and all relevant regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to departmental goals, share learnings, and participate in research or special projects
  • Regularly meet with suppliers (virtually or in-person) to deepen relationships and improve service
What will you need to succeed?
  • Degree-level education or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
  • Previous procurement or sourcing experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities
  • Commercial awareness with a focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across departments
  • Confidence working independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and commonly used IT platforms
  • Resilient under pressure with strong attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, and proactive attitude
