The role

As aProcurement Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be part of an incredible, diverse, and inclusive team of talented professionals, bringing specialist knowledge, management skills, and technical expertise across a wide range of products, technologies, and collaborative solutions—supporting both our internal and external customers.

Day-to-day, you’ll be accountable for the supply chain design, sourcing, contracting and procurement of materials and services to meet project objectives for cost, schedule and quality. Additionally, you will:

  • Capture specific project requirements and incorporate them into supply chain planning
  • Design supply chains to meet project demands while maximising performance and minimising risk and complexity
  • Manage sourcing and tendering processes in alignment with agreed project deliverables
  • Ensure all technical and quality requirements are fully met and that all materials and services are delivered in accordance with project schedules
  • Lead a team of Procurement Manager Contracts, overseeing their performance and supporting their professional development

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office/onsite and 2 days working from home.

Essential experience of the Procurement Manager

  • Experienced procurement practitioner with deep knowledge of current strategic procurement techniques
  • Extensive experience in complex project environments
  • A proven track record of delivering high-performing supply chain outcomes

Qualifications for the Procurement Manager

  • Either qualified to degree level or possessing equivalent experience
  • MCIPS certified or working towards MCIPS (or an equivalent professional qualification)

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
