Overview

I am currently recruiting for an award winning not for profit business based in Cornwall.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement across the business with a bias for reducing Coastline's impact on the environment.
• Manage the Approved Supplier List and Contracts Register, providing regular reports and audits to show how the business is meeting all regulatory requirements whilst influencing our supply chain to meet the targets of our Environmental Strategy.
• Represent the business within consortium bids and opportunities, working with other similar organisations to secure sustainable materials and services.
• Develop the Contract Register to manage the business procurement pipeline and be actively involved across the business encouraging other teams to think more environmentally with plenty of opportunities to learn and acquire new skills.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Good procurement experience either from the public or private sector.
• A passion for sustainability, the climate and the environment.
• A forward-looking procurement professional who can work as part of a team, but also use initiative and work independently with an organised and analytical approach.
