Job description

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join a dynamic operations team, where you will take the lead in managing the procurement of key components and materials for a leading space organisation at the forefront of technology.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implementing cutting-edge procurement strategies for satellite subsystems, payloads, propulsion technologies, and advanced communication modules.
2. Liaise with key suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure the very best results for all.
3. Liaise with engineering, project management, and quality assurance teams to ensure procurement aligns perfectly with project goals.
4. Stay ahead of industry trends and source new suppliers.
5. Develop and track KPIs that drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and supplier performance.

What we’re looking for:

1. BSC or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
2. Strong commercial background in procurement of satellite subsystems or aerospace components.
3. Good understanding of satellite systems and subsystems, along with the ability to navigate technical specifications.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
5. Experience of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
