Position Summary

As part of our continued expansion across Europe, Samsung Networks is looking to hire an experienced and highly motivated Procurement Manager to oversee procurement activities related to its operations in Europe. You will manage and oversee the product and service procurement activities, ensuring Samsung receives competitive pricing and terms that enable it to be cost-competitive in the market.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who can demonstrate a consistent track record in procurement within the IT and telecommunications industries and has extensive experience in bringing value.

This role will be based in the UK but will require travel to other EU locations.

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for local/regional sourcing of products and services aligned with Samsung Networks' strategic goals and commercial opportunities.
• Engage with and manage partner organizations including subcontractors supporting Samsung's network delivery and support.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers at all levels, including CxO, to foster engagement and growth.
• Monitor supplier performance, create assessment frameworks, and develop improvement plans as needed.
• Negotiate terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with Samsung's service and contract management teams.
• Align procurement strategies with service and product strategies.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships and documentation processes.
• Support the Head of Commercial and Procurement with contract management and flow-downs from customer contracts.

Qualifications and Skills

Hard Skills:

• Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Experience in procurement management in telecom or IT sectors
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Strong report writing skills
• Willingness to travel for business

Soft Skills:

• Negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills
• Excellent communication and planning abilities
• Existing contacts within European subcontractors and vendors
• Ability to manage end-to-end procurement processes under tight deadlines
