Procurement Manager
Location: Middleton, MA (4 days onsite, 1 day work from home) | Travel: 15–25%
Join a high-impact team driving operational excellence, strategic sourcing, and regional procurement leadership. As a Procurement Manager, you will play a critical role in optimizing the procurement function across the Great Lakes and Northeast regions. You’ll lead sourcing strategy, manage a significant spend portfolio, and influence decision-makers across operations to deliver measurable cost savings, supply chain efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute operational and tactical procurement strategies aligned with global and zone-level goals across two key regions.
- Drive end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including RFPs, contract negotiations, and vendor selection—ensuring competitive pricing, risk mitigation, and supply assurance.
- Act as the procurement lead for regional Plant Managers, General Managers, and Operations Leaders—translating category strategies into actionable site-level execution.
- Identify and execute cost-reduction initiatives and efficiency opportunities to optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) across categories.
- Champion procurement policies, ethics, and training while embedding consistent standards across all purchasing activities.
- Where applicable, oversee and mentor local Buyers or Warehouse Managers, contributing to team capability and succession planning.
- Use KPIs and dashboards to measure results, report savings, and present insights to operational and executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5–7 years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, ideally in a multi-site or regional role. Strong track record in delivering savings and building relationships across cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of strategic sourcing, vendor management, compliance, and procurement systems.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Willingness to travel 15–25% within assigned regions domestically.
