My client, a leading Civil Engineering and Aggregates business are looking for a motivated and experienced Procurement Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you’ll lead their procurement function, ensuring they source high-quality products and services at competitive prices to support their business goals.

What You'll Do:

  • Shape Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement a procurement strategy aligned with our business objectives, driving value across the organization.
  • Lead & Inspire: Manage and guide our procurement team, working closely with stakeholders to deliver cost savings without compromising on quality.
  • Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships, negotiate contracts, and secure the best deals to ensure optimal delivery of goods and services.
  • End-to-End Procurement: Oversee the entire procurement process, from tendering and sourcing to contract negotiation, ensuring compliance and best value.
  • Performance Management: Implement a supplier performance framework with regular reviews and KPI reporting to continually enhance supplier performance.
  • Strategic Reporting: Provide detailed procurement reports and insights to senior management to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring:

  • Education: Degree or equivalent in a business-related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in procurement management, ideally within civil engineering or construction.
  • Expertise: Deep understanding of procurement best practices, with a track record of delivering cost savings and improving supplier performance.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team toward achieving results.
