A leading arts organization in London is seeking a Procurement Manager to establish a new Procurement function focused on Estates and Capital Projects. The successful candidate will be CIPS qualified and have strong experience in procurement policy design and stakeholder management. This role emphasizes collaboration and dynamic approaches to procurement, ensuring the organization can deliver world-class theatre in the future.
The National Theatre offers the widest access to high quality theatre to millions of audience members across the UK and around the world every year and this opportunity is an exciting moment for the National as it sets up a Procurement function for the first time. This role will help to develop an industry-leading commercial function that will help to ensure that we can deliver great theatre into the future.
The Procurement Manager will deliver procurement activities across the NT, but with an initial focus on Estates and Capital Projects. In addition, they will work alongside the Head of Procurement to develop policy, process and procedures, build strong relationships across the NT to ensure the new function is embedded.
The team we create won’t be governed by arbitrary rules and inflexible thresholds. Our approach to procurement will be dynamic, pragmatic, fleet of foot and, above all, collaborative. Together, we will ensure that Procurement plays its part in delivering the National Theatre’s core mission: creating world-class theatre that entertains and inspires.
