Job summary

Resolute Group is seeking a motivated Procurement Manager to move from construction into the Infrastructure, Energy and Power sectors from their base in Glasgow. This role offers a hybrid working pattern with 2–3 days in the office and 2–3 days at home.

The position oversees end-to-end procurement on major energy projects, delivering value, leadership of a small team, and engagement with clients to shape procurement strategies. A base salary of £70,000 plus car/allowance and bonus is on offer.

Qualifications

• Previously worked as a Senior Buyer or Procurement Manager within the construction or infrastructure sector.
• Proven internal and external stakeholder management, handling multiple projects or framework agreements.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK and living within commuting distance of Glasgow.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end subcontract and materials procurement processes, ensuring best practice, best value, and alignment with programme requirements.
• Lead procurement activities including EOI, PQQ, ITT, contractor scoring, and contract awards.
• Work directly with the client on project pipelines and future procurement strategies.
• Own and update procurement schedules, reporting accurately on buying gains and losses.
• Lead a small team of Senior Buyers / Buyers who will manage the day-to-day project-specific activities.
• Support work-winning efforts through tender inputs, procurement strategies, supplier selection, and relevant meetings.

Working on some of the largest Energy and Power projects in Scotland for the next 10 years. The perfect chance to transfer from another Tier 1 Contractor in the Infrastructure or Construction sector into the Power and Energy sector.

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Procurement Manager to join our team on the Power frameworks, supporting the delivery of a range of exciting power transmission schemes. Delivering £3 billion of projects over the next 5 years, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone keen to further develop their skills and take on increasing levels of responsibility within a major infrastructure framework.
