Procurement Manager

Due to continued controlled growth, Amarinth Ltd. is seeking to recruit a full time Procurement Manager to manage the existing Procurement Department and contribute towards the continued growth of its business.

This office based role will see the successful candidate providing assistance to the Manufacturing Director, and managing both suppliers & the Procurement team including continued operational monitoring and work load prioritisation of the team. It has both a reactive and pro-active element. The candidate will be expected to successfully fulfil their key responsibilities within the team role including strong commercial negotiation focussing on price, specification & effectively managing supplier deliveries to achieve on time delivery of customers orders.

The candidate where applicable will be trained in the use of Amarinth internal systems, along with following available relevant works instructions. There will be a need to regularly review and identify any issues or barriers preventing timely completion of supplier purchase orders, & of both department and individual workload, whilst working closely with the Manufacturing & Contracting teams.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of purchasing within budgets within an Operational Department, including key supplier development through regular technical review meetings. Of high importance will be the ability to quickly influence and deliver performance through effectively management of suppliers and ensuring orders are progressed through the company. There will be required a daily interaction between both the internal office & manufacturing areas of the Company.
