Procurement Manager Remote Oil&Gas / Nuclear / Chemical manufacturing/ Refinery Petrochemical

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to play a key role in developing and executing sourcing strategies, with responsibility for maximizing supplier productivity across both hard and soft savings.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of key supplier relationships, ensuring that goods and services are delivered to the required standards of quality, price, and delivery — and in the safest possible manner. Logistics and Transportation

Staying informed of market trends, supplier innovation, product developments, and pricing will be key. You’ll use this knowledge to identify new products and suppliers where appropriate and help bring external innovation into the organization.

This role also provides the opportunity to collaborate with regional and global teams, sharing best practices and leveraging the benefits of working within a large, international organization.

The position offers a clear development pathway toward more senior roles within the strategic sourcing and procurement structure.

What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior procurement role within a large national or international company
  • Degree-level education (MSc/MBA preferred) and/or a professional procurement qualification (e.g. CIPS)
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing and procurement
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and ability to build strong internal and external relationships
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a high-pressure, dynamic environment
  • Commercially astute with an understanding of procurement’s impact on business performance
  • Proven project management experience and ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Skilled in navigating complex, evolving organizations and managing ambiguity
  • Understanding of contract management, including drafting and negotiation
