Overview:

We are looking for an experienced, highly organised, and capable person to be responsible for all buying and stock control activities, ranging from packaging and dry goods to kitchen products and our core raw materials. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the business reacts to the daily needs of our customers and maintains fresh products with a good shelf-life.

Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement procurement strategies to source high-quality ingredients and materials at competitive prices.
  2. Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring reliability and quality.
  3. Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and reduce excess stock, ensuring optimal supply chain efficiency.
  4. Cost Management: Analyze spending patterns and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
  5. Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:

A relevant background with several years of experience in buying, procurement, cost management, and stock control is a must. Food industry experience is essential. Successful supplier negotiation skills and proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office are required.

Day-to-day:

This is a hands-on management job that requires the ability to handle the fast pace and the multitude of components involved in producing our products.
